Sawitri Khan, an Indonesian model from Bali, is one of the faces in the Spring / Summer ‘24 campaign for the iconic Finnish brand Marimekko. The campaign celebrates the 60th anniversary of its most globally recognized print Unikko.
The Unikko pattern was designed by Maija Isola in 1964, and it is one of the most recognized Marimekko print designs in the world of art and fashion. Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition.
The campaign is already visible in Marimekko stores worldwide including Canada, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan. One of the models who take part in the campaign is Sawitri Khan from Indonesia.
